Doing our part to support local 100k Charity Cycle.
On Saturday 15th of September we attended Pat McDonnell’s Paints, Monksland to support the team there with their inaugural charity cycle. The stores manager Peadar Mulvihill and his team with the support of the greater Pat McDonnell Paints company had organised a 100k cycle in aid of The Irish Cancer society.
We were very happy to offer our support on the day with refreshments for a very worthy cause. There was an amazing turnout on the day with over 60 cyclists taking part. So many people have been touched by this disease, and it was heartwarming and a privilege to be there to listen and support those taking part in memory of their loved ones.
There was just under €5000 raised at the event and we look forward to supporting Pat McDonnell’s Paints in the future as this Charity Cycle for the Irish Cancer Society becomes an annual event.
Well done to all involved on a successful event.
