Coffee Morning in Aid of SVP – Society of St Vincent de Paul.
This Friday 9th November we will be hosting a coffee morning in aid of SVP – Society of St Vincent de Paul in our offices at Sherry Fitzgerald O’Meara, 32 Mardyke St , Athlone, between 10 -12.
We will be offering baked goods, coffee and tea for everyone who comes to show there support.
SVP is such an amazing charity, that does so much for our local community.
The goal of SVP is to fight poverty in all its forms through the practical assistance to people in need.
They offer direct, personal assistance that is non-judgemental and based on the need of the individual or family.
In addition they provide a wide range of services for vulnerable people through their local offices, shops, resource centres, housing, daycare and holiday schemes amongst other things.
We are really inspired by the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and we really want to try to support them in what ever way we can. Please help us by donating at our coffee morning . We look forward to seeing you there !!

We had a great turn out for our coffee morning , even featuring on Athlone Community Radio .
We had supporters from lots of local businesses like Printing.com, loaves & Fishes, Athlone Town Centre, Sheraton Hotel and Local TD Robert Troy . We raised €230 in office and another €90 through our FaceBook fundraising page.
