Foxford

Description
The original structure is of stone construction, built over 100 years ago. A new block extension was added to the rear in 2020 and was finished to a very high standard. The house now stretches to a gross internal area of approximately 90sqm. The house has just been painted internally. With the installation of new double glazed windows, new doors, insulation, oil central heating, a solid-fuel stove with back boiler, Easy access loft ladders, and new insulated roof, the BER was brought from a G rating to a D1 rating.
The house sits on a large holding of 10.65 acres, with all of the land contained behind the house in one, well-defined division. The land has recently been refenced to accommodate cattle, sheep and horses and all the drains have been cleared. The land is of mixed-quality and there is currently horses and sheep grazing it. There has been no pesticides or synthetic fertilisers added to the land in the last 30 years.
The immediate site consists of well-maintained patio areas, off-street parking to the sides and rear, a large polytunnel (15m x 8m) and an old stone barn in good condition with electricity. The barn had been fitted out as a chicken run but would serve a multitude of purposes.
