Lough Scur Occupying the summit of the Shannon-Erne Waterway, and positioned at the midway point between Carrick-on-Shannon and Ballinamore, Lough Scur is a highly regarded angling destination, covering over 280 acres. About the Area
Carrick-on-Shannon is the county town of County Leitrim. It is also the smallest main county town in Ireland, situated on a strategic crossing point of the River Shannon and is the largest town in the county. The population of the town was 3,980 in 2011.
